Today, I was talking with my former college mate, Pedro Laguna, about his new blogging project about Windows Vista and UAC. He asked me for commenting about such things like “What should I write in my About page?”, “How does this theme looks like?”, et cetera. I told him to write something like “Tales from UAC” in the blog subtitle. Aside from this, I gave him a piece of advice: double-check everything you write. We both are not native English speakers so we are very prone to write English with Spanish grammatical structures. I also reminded him to use WordReference, Google Translator and Google “define:word” because it is very easy for a non-native to misspell a word.
A few minutes later, he came back and told me he translated “tales” in Google Translator and found this WTF?:
P.S: if you try “Tales”, it seems to work with correct results. But it is still amazing how we could arrive at this point. Did someone suggest this translation?
